Sizing & Representation

APPAREL

Most of our products are sized in standard NZ/AU sizing, however please note sizing can vary depending on the manufacturer, design, fabric and fit.

We will do our best to provide as much information as possible in the product description - but as a small business with a large and frequently changing catalogue, we don't currently have the resources to individually measure and photograph every item that we display online, so rely on the details and imagery provided by our suppliers.

We are more than happy to provide additional measurements and photos on request. If you are unsure of how something fits or would like extra guidance please contact us. We are here to help!

DENIM

Sizing can vary between brands, but most of our denim is sized either using inches, or in AUS/NZ standard sizing eg. 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 etc..

Inches: Generally both the waist measurement and leg length measurement are provided. For example 28/32, refers to a waist measurement of 28" and a leg length measurement of 32" (which refers to the inseam length from crotch to ankle, but again the exact length can vary slightly between brands!)

Handy Tips: When shopping for jeans using the 'Inches' sizing system, refer to the waist size and add the two numbers together to roughly convert from Inches to AU/NZ sizing. Eg. If the waist size was 26... 2 + 6 = 8. Roughly an AU/NZ size 8!

This trick works up until you reach 29 (approx AU/NZ size 11). Then you can figure it out from there.. eg size 30 is approx AU/NZ 12, size 31 is approx AU/NZ 13 and so on!

Sometimes a 'Rise' measurement will also be provided where possible. This refers to the distance from the top of the waistband to the seam where the crotch meets the legs of the pants. High rise jeans tend to be above 10”, while mid-rise are between 8” and 9.5”, and low rise are below 8”

To take your own measurements: Take a measuring tape, wrap it around your waist and take hold of the other side - not too snug, not too loose. Read and record the number before moving onto your leg measurements.

To find your leg length you’ll want to measure the inseam. Take your tape measure and measure straight down the inside leg from the crotch to the ankle.
