Welcome to the online store for Sidecar: The Menswear Store and Trouble and Fox boutique.

Our physical stores are located in Nelson, New Zealand and the website is owned and operated by Whirlwind Enterprises Pty Ltd (our legal name).

Payment... 

We accept payment via credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express) through the EWAY payment gateway, Paypal, or direct bank deposits (For NZ customers only).

All credit card payments are processed through the EWAY payment gateway or via PayPal should you select this option. Please note that to use the Paypal option you are NOT required to have a PayPal account, but you can sign-up or use your existing Paypal account if you wish.

EWAY delivers bulletproof online security backed by robust PCI DSS compliance. This gateway is powered by EWAY’s RAPID API, which means we don't ever see your credit card data: it’s processed directly from your browser to EWAY’s secure payment gateway. EWAY is certified as meeting Tier 1 of the PCI DSS compliance criteria, which is the highest level of compliance available and is the same levels of data security of  the biggest banks in the world. Pay Pal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). We never ever see your credit card details so its super safe!

All personal info, address, email, credit card and banking details MUST be filled out correctly to ensure we can send your purchase expediently and correctly.

Placing an order and making purchases... 

Orders will not be dispatched until payment in full has been received and we are satisfied with the integrity of the order.

When we receive your order we’ll send you a confirmation email of your purchase. 
This will contain an invoice number of the item and its cost 
(as well as a tracking number, if this applies) for its shipping. If you select ‘bank deposit’ as a payment method you will receive our account details upon completing checkout.

As soon as we receive full payment we will aim to process & ship your order between 1 - 3 working days. Please note we do not send out orders on Weekends or Public Holidays.

Availability...

As well as our online store, we also have two real-life physical stores – Sidecar Menswear and Trouble & Fox, where at any moment someone could walk in off the street, try something on and buy it!

We generally stock products in limited quantities, and we will try our very best to keep our online stock levels accurate and up to date - but there is a small chance that before our website updates, you may be purchasing something online at the same time as a customer in one of our physical stores.

In rare instances, we may experience technical 'glitches' with our inventory systems where the item count does not update properly - so there is a slight possibility that you could buy a product that is no longer available. It's not an ideal situation for any of us and we try to keep our data as accurate as possible, but at this stage we are only as good as the technology available to us!

If this occurs and you have ordered something online that is for any reason unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and find a solution - either order it in for you (if this suits your timeframes), cancel your order (if you haven't yet paid) or issue a refund.

Representation… 

Some items may look slightly different in real life to how they look in the photo (due to arty photography or the way computer shows colours) but we will do our best to give you the most accurate description of how the item looks.

If you have any questions about the fit or look of an item, email us or call us and we will do our best to help you out.

But if you think we’ve got it way wrong (like those cool chinos looked red in the photo, but hey they turned up hot pink!) contact us and we’ll have a chat about what we can do.

Accuracy.. 

Prices of goods and services and delivery and other charges displayed on this site are current at the time of display. These prices are subject to variation without notice. We will always try to be as accurate as possible with our product descriptions, pricing and item availability. However, because we are only human and rely on the technology available to us, we are unable to warrant that product descriptions, inventory data or other content of the web site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error free.

Privacy statement... 

Whirlwind Enterprises Pty Ltd collects customer info so that we can process your orders as efficiently as possible. We respect your privacy and assure you that we will use this information responsibly. All your info is kept on super secret files and we won’t be giving your info away to any other parties.

We will use your information in the strictest confidence and will not give your info to any dodgy spam company. The info you provide will help us create an easy to use online store. We will keep your info private and we do not for any reason record credit card information.

Joining our mailing list is optional, however it is recommended, as it will benefit you in your shopping experience with us and help us give you secret discounts and free stuff (and who doesn’t like free stuff?!) Once again we keep this information private and secure.

If you have signed up to our mailing list and no longer wish to part of the Trouble and Fox/ Sidecar crew simply email us at hello@troubleandfox.co.nz with "unsubscribe" in the subject area, and we shall wipe you off the list.
