Crafted in collaboration with McKinlays, a fifth-generation New Zealand shoemaker based in Dunedin, the Glasto Boot is a refined reissue of a heritage silhouette - reimagined with purpose and timeless appeal. Made in Dunedin from premium leather, this mid-height hiker boot features durable stitching, a robust lug sole, and a slight padding with minimal branding embossed at the collar.

This style offers a grounded yet elevated take on everyday footwear. Built to last and designed to roam.

• Rubber sole with rugged tread for durability

Size & Fit: 

Please measure the length of your foot to allow 6-10mm more to the 'last length' otherwise toes will hit the end of the shoe. E.g. if your foot measures 240mm you will take approx size 39.
(A last is a mechanical form shaped like a human foot. It is used by shoemakers in the manufacture of shoes.)

Material: Leather Upper / Rubber Outsole

Care: Clean - Keep your McKinlays clean to keep them looking fresher for longer. The supplier recommends the Dasco Multi Cleaner for effective water and stain removal. Works best when used with a stiff bristled brush.

Protect - The supplier suggests using Dasco Water Protector to protect against water, oil and stains. Suitable for both leather and nubuck - they recommend using this protectant before your first wear with regular application ongoing for best results.

Please read our policies carefully before you purchase. As a small business, we really value your support - however there are some costs that we cannot absorb and may be deducted in the event of a refund. Please reach out if you have any queries :)

• If you are looking to return something, please contact us first at hello@troubleandfox.co.nz within 7 days of delivery and we will reply with returns instructions.
  
  
• FULL PRICED ITEMS: Full-priced items can be returned for an exchange, credit note or refund. Returns must be sent back to us within 7 days from the day that the order was received. Please note items purchased using the Welcome sign up discount code are considered discounted items and can be returned for an exchange/ credit.
  
  
• AFTERPAY/ BNPL: Items purchased via Afterpay or similar external 'Buy Now Pay Later' services can be returned for an exchange, online credit or refund. Due to the non-refundable merchant fees we incur with these third-party providers, we will deduct a 5% service fee if a refund is chosen.

• SALE/ DISCOUNTED/ WELCOME CODE/ LOYALTY CODES: Unless otherwise stated in the terms of a promotion, general sale items, items purchased using a discount code, or items purchased where a loyalty code has been applied, may be returned for an exchange or credit note, but cannot be returned for a refund. This includes the Welcome sign-up discount code.
  Please note all shipping costs incurred in exchanging sale items are the responsibility of the customer (many other independent stores do not allow exchanges on sale items, so please be kind!)
  
  
• SALE ON SALE: Any existing sale items where extra discounts have been applied (sale on sale, discounts on top of already reduced items) are considered FINAL and cannot be returned at all unless accepted as faulty.

• SHIPPING COSTS: Shipping costs are non-refundable, and if free or subsidised shipping was received initially we will retain our actual shipping costs if a refund is chosen (NZ $10-$20).
